Biography: Please allow me to introduce the artist Marco Angeli. Marco is a third generation artist, just like his father Mario Angeli and grandfather Rocco Angeli. Marco was born in 1953 in São Paulo, Brazil. In 1969 Marco started his professional career. Between 1970 - 1974 Marco produced many illustrating works for several companies. One such product packaging was for one of Brazil's largest food companies Cica. In 1975 Marco started his Editorial career. He joined one of the biggest publishing companies in Brazil the Editora Abril as an Art Director. There he worked on a new fashion magazine called Noticiario da Moda (Fashion News). During this time Marco also freelanced for other magazine publications such as Claudia, Claudia Moda (Claudia Fashion), and the fashion section of Playboy. In 1977 Marco opened an Ad Agency called Lapix de Propaganda. Marco produced numerous publicity works for several fashion labels at the time including one of Brazil's biggest labels Zoomp. During this time Marco continued to freelance for Playboy magazine throughout the 80's. Marco also illustrated Interview's magazine covers (the Brazilian Interview).

In 1980 he opened Marco Angeli Studio where he continues to grace us with his art. Marco has several big clients, one such client is McDonald's Corp. (Brazil). Overall, Marco's works are spread all over Brazil in Government offices, Architectural companies, Marketing companies, Interior Design companies, private clients, McDonald's restaurants and offices, the film industry and others. The following works are part of his new exhibit in Brazil in August of 2004, it depicts the city of São Paulo - Brazil in the 50's and earlier. It also pays homage to what he calls "the father's of São Paulo". Other works that will follow to the US market includes the city of Rio de Janeiro, New York, Los Angeles,

San Francisco, Paris and others.
